Aircraft Logs v1.2.0 Release Notes

Hey everyone! Last week's release, v1.2.0, brings a data model improvement that sets the stage for more flexible logbook management, along with a reliability enhancement for logbook forms. Let's dig in.

Improvements

Per-engine tach and Hobbs time now stored where they belong.

If you fly aircraft with multiple engines and track tach or Hobbs time on a per-engine basis, this one's for you. Previously, that data was tied directly to the Logbook object itself. We've moved it to the join between a logbook entry and its logbook master record — a more accurate reflection of how that information actually works in the real world.

In plain terms: your per-engine tach and Hobbs readings are now stored in a way that's cleaner, more flexible, and better prepared to support different logbook configurations down the road. You shouldn't notice anything different day-to-day, but this lays important groundwork for features we're building toward.

Added save protection to logbook forms.

We've added double-submit protection to the logbook create and edit forms. If a submission takes a moment to process, a second tap or click is now safely ignored while the first one completes — so your entries stay accurate and duplicate-free, even on a slow connection.

As always, since this is a browser-based application, you'll see the updates automatically.

Thanks for flying with Aircraft Logs — and as always, blue skies!
