Compliance required within 30 days after the effective date of this AD.
To prevent engine flameout or engine damage from the bow wave caused by the nose wheel on flooded or slush covered runways, install Kleber-Colombes NO82E22 or Dunlop 082E22 nose wheel tires, with water deflectors, or FAA approved equivalents, unless a placard is installed in the airplane prohibiting operations on flooded or slush covered runways.
This directive effective January 27, 1964.
