68-15-04\tBOEING: Amdt. 39-645 revises AD 68-15-04 by amending the compliance requirement. Applies to all Model 727 Series Airplanes. \n\n\tCompliance required within the next 1200 hours time in service after the effective date of this AD, unless already accomplished. \n\n\tTo prevent damage to wire bundles adjacent to the battery charger, accomplish the following: \n\n\tInstall a flame barrier on the lower inboard side of the R.H. rack support assembly adjacent to the battery charger in accordance with Boeing Service Bulletin No. 24-27 or later FAA approved revisions or an equivalent method approved by the Chief, Aircraft Engineering Division, FAA Western Region. \n\n\tThis amendment becomes effective September 5, 1968.
