Applies to All Models 707 and 720 Series Aircraft. \n\n\tCompliance required within the next ten hours' time in service unless already accomplished. \n\n\tTo eliminate arcing and subsequent fire hazard resulting from presence of moisture and lint accumulation between the electrical razor outlet terminals, deactivate all electrical razor outlets by pulling all applicable AC and DC circuit breakers. Secure circuit breakers in open position. Outlets may be reactivated upon accomplishment of Boeing Service Bulletin No. 1736 or an FAA approved equivalent. \n\n\tThis directive effective upon publication in the Federal Register for all persons except those to whom it was made effective immediately by telegram dated July 6, 1962.
