67-18-04 PAN AVION: Amdt. 39-428, Part 39, Federal Register May 30, 1967. Applies to Model PA-5 Life Vests equipped with an 8-gram CO2 cartridge (P/N 2200-525-15).
Compliance required within 30 days after the effective date of this AD, unless already accomplished.
To insure adequate life vest buoyancy, remove the 8-gram CO2 cartridge (P/N 2200-525-15) and install a 12-gram CO2 cartridge (P/N 2200-525-21) and a long inflator cap (P/N 2200-538-8).
