65-24-01 AIR CRUISERS: Amdt. 39-149, Part 39 Federal Register October 13, 1965. Applies to Emergency Evacuation Slides, P/N 15D22129, Installed on Boeing Model 727 Series Airplanes. \n\n\tCompliance required within the next 1,000 hours' time in service after the effective date of this AD unless already accomplished. \n\n\tTo prevent ripping of Air Cruisers emergency evacuation slides, P/N 15D22129, rework and reinforce each slide in accordance with the Accomplishment Instructions specified in Air Cruisers Service Bulletin SB-114-65-1, Revision A, dated March 19, 1965, or later FAA-approved revision, or an equivalent approved by the Chief, Engineering and Manufacturing Branch, FAA Eastern Region. \n\n\tThis directive effective November 12, 1965.
