Chapter 3: Dashboard
Overview
The Dashboard is your home base in Aircraft-logs.com. It provides a quick overview of your entire fleet and highlights items that need your attention.
Dashboard Sections
Fleet Summary
At the top of the dashboard, you'll see summary statistics:
- Fleet Overview: Number of aircraft in your account
- Maintenance Due: Any upcoming maintenance due today or earlier
- AD Compliance: non compliant items
- Action Items: Squaks and other items requiring attention
Your Aircraft
A card or list view of all your aircraft showing:
- N-Number: The aircraft tail number
- Make/Model: Aircraft type
- Current Hours*: Greatest hours entered
- Average Hours / Year: Average hours per year
Click on any aircraft to view its details.
Recent Activity Feed
A timeline of recent actions:
- New logbook entries
- AD compliance updates
- Component changes
- Document uploads
Understanding Status Indicators
Fleet Overview
- Yellow - needs attention: Aircraft with outstanding maintenance
- Green - All aircraft in good standing: No outstanding maintenance
Maintenance Due
- Item: Maintenance item of the most urgent maintenance
- Due: Due date of the most urgent maintenance
- Total: Other maintenance items due today or earlier
AD Compliance
- Total: Total number of non-compliant items
Action Items
- Totals: Total number of squaks and other items requiring attention
Dashboard Best Practices
- Check daily: A quick dashboard review catches items before they become overdue
- Address red items first: Overdue items need immediate attention
- Plan ahead: Use the upcoming maintenance section to schedule work
- Keep records current: Enter logbook entries promptly after maintenance

On mobile devices, the dashboard adapts to your screen:
- Cards stack vertically
- Swipe to navigate between sections
- All features remain accessible
- Tap to expand collapsed sections
